I would not be worried that if you do not part with an unsuitable partner (the one your life is senseless and joyless with and the one who teaches you nothing but patience) you will have nothing to remember about in old age and will be left with bitter regret that you have missed the whole life because of indecision. Not at all! Old age will show it at the best, it will show that the life was correct, direct, clear, difficult but it set a good example. You will be able to keep your stupid head held high and without the least hidden motive to point an accusatory finger at young people with the words: “We were different”. It will be the truth, and isn’t the truth the best excuse?
